2024 is a year of storytelling for me😊.
Four years ago, I paid N150,000 to a coach for personal coaching sessions.
Looking back, I’m glad I decided to invest in my personal development. The difference is evident in comparing my life before and after that decision.
At the time, I remember it was the last money I had in my account, and I was super scared. I knew I’d be broke after making that payment. With so many uncertainties, I asked myself how I would survive during the Covid-19 lockdown.
I knew I could do more, but I needed to know the HOW. It was challenging to see beyond the present.
Thinking about it now, that money was too small compared to the value I got from the coaching.
I will never forget what my coach told me during the first coaching session, ‘Chekwube, you’ll be surprised at what you’re capable of achieving; you need to put yourself out there’.
Hmmn…
Before then, I wasn’t active on social media. I wasn’t even interested in being seen. I liked my private life…especially being an introvert😊.
Every day, I get many DM’s from people across the world just thanking me for the courage it took to put myself out there and share my stories as they serve as an inspiration. Aside from inspiring many people, my own story has inspired me to do more 💪✌.
Having a coach is one of the reasons I have developed my self-confidence over time. I discovered a lot about myself during my coaching sessions.
Many people still need to learn the value of coaching. Some think it’s a waste of resources.
When you invest in getting a coach, you gain valuable knowledge, skills and insights you never thought possible. You also get personalised support, encouragement and guidance on your journey.
Truthfully, we can’t do life alone! We need all the support and encouragement we can get.
Though I know some people may not have the money to pay for coaches at this time, and that’s one of the reasons why I recently launched a community called The Career Path Mentor.
In this community, members will get free coaching sessions, we will encourage them to achieve their full potential by showing them the HOW✌.
