This Thing Called LIFE

Life will test you in so many ways. You’ll go through unbearable pains, you’ll say hurtful words to yourself, you’ll feel like giving up so many times, and you’ll shed uncontrollable tears, those kinds of tears you shed at night while closing your mouth because you don’t want anyone to hear you cry especially when you have young ones around you, and they see you as their SHEro.

You’ll ask yourself, why me? What have I done to deserve this? Why are things not working out as expected? Why have I made so many mistakes in life? People will laugh at you, even friends and family members. You’ll pray and pray, but it will feel like God isn’t listening to you anymore. You’ll apply for jobs, but you won’t get any feedback; you’ll go completely broke, but you won’t want to tell anyone what you’re going through for fear of being laughed at or ridiculed.

People will misunderstand you, quarrel with you, and your parents may ignore you because they don’t understand you anymore. You’ll reach rock bottom and find out no one is coming to save you. YOU’LL HAVE TO SAVE YOURSELF. Brace up, dear friend, and be strong; you must stand up and fight for what you truly deserve. In times like this, pray to God for peace of mind and wisdom, and you’ll gradually overcome self-doubt and low self-esteem, and in no time, the world will hear your name.

This thing called life is truly a journey.

Please don’t be too hard on yourself if things aren’t working out as planned. Never compare yourself with anyone because to do that isn’t SELF-LOVE. With time, you’ll see. Rest assured that everything you’re going through is preparing you for the future. You’ll be happy and proud of yourself because of all you had to go through and overcome. People will celebrate you every day.

For now, practice self-love and keep being strong. Everything will work out for your good.
